An ordinary day at the garage

The phone does not pick its moment. This is how you lose money today, and what happens with digamotor.

Today
  • Vehicles coming in and the phone ringing at the same time.
  • Four calls asking whether the car is ready.
  • Somebody asks for a quote on a cambelt.
  • A customer wants to drop the car off first thing tomorrow.
  • Someone calls with the garage closed about a breakdown.
With digamotor
  • It answers on the first ring and the booking is made.
  • They are answered with the real status, without reaching the counter.
  • The registration and the reason are taken, and the assessment is booked.
  • The slot is checked and they are given a time.
  • It answers, works out how urgent it is and books them in for tomorrow.

We are there where you need it most

Nothing about how the garage works has to change. You just stop losing these three things.

The counter

The "is my car ready" calls stop reaching reception, who can look after whoever is standing in front of them.

Dirty hands

From under the car nobody picks up the phone. It is answered anyway and the booking goes into the free slot.

The closed hours

A breakdown does not wait until Monday. It answers in the evening and at weekends, and the car comes in sooner.

Prices, hours and conditions stop reaching the front desk.
Checks slots, books, moves and cancels without going through a person.

What a garage asks

The nine questions the sector actually asks. Answered here, so you do not have to call and ask.

Can it book garage appointments without anyone picking up the phone?

Yes. heydiga answers the call, asks what the garage needs to know (registration, vehicle, reason for the visit, whether the customer is leaving the car or waiting), checks availability and books the appointment into a real slot, never booking more work than the garage can handle. It is the most common case: the call comes in while the team is under a car and today it goes unanswered.

Does it give quotes over the phone?

heydiga gives prices over the phone for the fixed-price jobs the garage has loaded, such as an oil change. Anything that needs a diagnosis it does not quote: it takes what the garage needs to assess it (registration or model, symptom, mileage) and books the assessment or leaves a message for the garage to call back with the figure. It does not improvise amounts or commit to a figure.

What does it say when someone asks how their repair is going?

heydiga answers with the real status when it is connected to the garage's workshop software, such as Quiter or TallerGP: it recognises the registration, reads the repair order and passes it on without pulling anyone out from under a car. If the status is not recorded, it says so and passes the call to whoever is handling the repair, without making it up. The plans section shows which plans include integration with the sector's software.

Does it answer opening hours, "are you open on Saturday?" and similar questions?

Yes, heydiga answers the repetitive questions, which make up a large share of a garage's calls. Opening hours, bank holidays, address, whether a booking is needed, whether there is a courtesy car or whether the garage works with a particular insurer: it settles them with the information the garage has given it, without anyone stopping what they are doing.

What happens to the person on reception today?

With heydiga, the person on reception stays in their job, with fewer interruptions and free to look after whoever is in front of them. heydiga takes the repetitive work (opening hours, repair status, first round of details) and passes on whatever needs judgement: a complaint, a technical case, a customer who wants to negotiate. In backup mode, heydiga only steps in when the call goes unanswered.

Does it tell an urgent breakdown from a service?

Yes. heydiga asks about the symptom and applies the protocol the garage defines, because a car that will not start is not treated like a service. If it is urgent, it passes the call to the garage or leaves the team a message; if the breakdown comes in while the garage is closed, it takes it down and books the car in for the next day.

Does it handle both workshop calls and sales calls?

Yes, and in automotive that is the norm: workshop bookings, opening-hours questions and people interested in a car all come in on the same number. digamotor identifies what each caller wants, books whatever can be booked and passes the sales lead to the salesperson with the details already collected.

Does it let customers know when the vehicle is ready, or follow up?

Yes. As well as answering calls, digamotor calls or messages to say the car is ready for collection, confirm the next day's appointment, remind customers of a service that is due or follow up after a repair.

Does it work if the business has several sites?

Yes. With heydiga each site can have its own line or share a single number that routes every call to the right site. Either way, each site keeps its own calendar, opening hours and team, and what happens across all of them shows on the same dashboard. The plans section shows which plan includes bookings across sites.
